About Marta
As the other co-founder of 2 English Tutors, Marta has spent over 25 years helping people unlock the power of English! Teaching English as an Additional Language (EAL) to absolutely everyone.
From little kids just starting to learn their ABCs in English, to adults who need to master presentations for work, she has taught all ages and every single level. Helping people go from “hello” to truly expressing themselves, whether it’s for school, travel, or career success.
Background
Beyond the classroom, Marta embraces an active and curious lifestyle. She finds solace and rejuvenation in the outdoors, with hiking being a beloved pastime. Her intellectual curiosity is evident in her love for reading books and her continuous pursuit of learning new things. As a lifelong learner, she started playing the piano only four years ago!
Experience
Marta is a qualified EAL teacher with extensive experience, dedicating her career to supporting people develop their English language skills, build confidence, and enable them to thrive academically and socially.
Marta has both state and private school experience. In these roles, she has served as an EAL tutor and helped children from disadvantaged backgrounds to integrate seamlessly into the curriculum and school community.
For the past four years, Marta has been the Academic Leader at the Rossall Summer School, overseeing the academic program, ensuring high-quality EAL instruction, and fostering an enriching learning environment for international students during the summer months.
Languages
Marta graduated from the Silesian University in Opava, Czech Republic with a master’s degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. She is a fluent English and Czech speaker and has also studied a bachelor’s in French and Spanish.
Fun fact
She is a skilled snowboarder.
